The Thursday September 16, 2004 Auction will take place at Toronto's Eagles' Club at 17 Elm Street, Downtown Toronto (Two blocks north of Dundas Street, West off Yonge Street). This sale will commence at 11:30am. Viewing for this sale will start on September 10 to September 15, 10:30am to 5pm (closed Sundays), at our offices at 211 Yonge Street, Suite 200. There will be limited viewing at our offices on the day of the sale from 9:40am to 11am. Please note that a 15% buyer's commission will be added to the hammer price of each lot.

44 1699 - two VF and very large revenues - one is of deity in a cart with pennants, the other in shape of a heart. Scarce to find both on same sheet of watermarked paper. 45 1722 - superb illustration of large revenue on watermarked paper. Marriage contract of nobility. Appears to be in Basque language, if so, would be very rare. With 15 bold signatures. 50 1790 Revolution document - very touching - addressed to “Citoyens” (To the Citizens) and titled “Sur la conduite de M. Gendre” (conduct of...) - written by a widow with many children and her misfortunes back to 1770. Fresh. Also complete and very fresh four-page document dated in code. But the writing and the very crude watermarks are clearly 17th century, probably earlier. Great calligraphy. representative of era E$100+

408 - German Document signed Der Fuhrer Adolph Hitler on Golden Anniversary Document (50th) roughly translated "To the rare event (or feast) of the Golden Anniversary. The German government wishes you and your wife all the best wishes through me. May you have a long and not sad (or without trouble) life". Additional form has handstamp of town of Krefeld and addressed to the couple. Letter dated "24.10.1942" from state Minister's office and signed Berger. VG condition. Nice examples and very rare.
