This auction will take place on Tuesday June 19, 2007 commencing at 11:30am. The sale will take place at the Eagles Club - 17 Elm Street, north of Dundas, west of Yonge. Viewing for this sale will take place at our office at 211 Yonge Street, suite 200. Viewing will start on Saturday June 9 until Monday June 18 from 10.30 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Closed Sundays). We will allow limited viewing on day of sale (June 19 ) from 9.40 a.m. to 11 a.m. We are located just up the street from the Elgin Theatre and just around the corner from Massey Hall. We are across the street and just a bit south of the Eaton Centre Shuter Street Parking Entrance. Take the Albert Street/Massey Hall exit from the Queen Subway stop and you are outside our building. Please note that a 15% buyers commission will be added to the hammer prices of lots purchased, and applicable taxes will be added to the hammer price + commission.

24 (5) - 1713 to 1773 - faulty 1713 doc. on parchment - several words missing - several interesting signatures - early 19th century list of people concerned attached. 1748 on parchment from Ile de France. 25 (2) - 1738 short note with lovely revenue on back and signed; also 1842 pastoral letter from the Archbishop of Bourges requesting an official funeral service in all parishes in memory of the Duc D’Orleans, eldest son of the king. Very rare. Fresh E$80

34 (3) - 1842 - 26 pages dealing with a lawsuit by Marquis de Falletans (was a high-ranking officer in the Royal Army) against the Garnier family, with lengthy notes written by the Marquis. Also inc. a genealogy piece about Marquis de Falletans on paper with a marvellous almost full page watermark. Plus another genealogy paper about the Jouffroy family with a list of about 100 names starting from the year 1500. All very fresh . E$140
35 (3) - 1843 two long handwritten reports concerning the lawsuit of Marquis de Falletans against Garnier. Both on flimsy paper. One probably written and signed by the Marquis. Also 1846 notes made by the Marquis regarding the lawsuit. On beautifully embossed paper. Very fresh. E$100
36 (3) - 1849 16-page publication by Victor Resal with his views on the current situation in France and communism. Some faults. 1850 circular from the Dept. of Vosges. Fresh. Plus Aug 4, 1870 edition of “La Petite Marseillaise”, issue No. 6 of the famous Henri Rochefort newspaper. One page cut into resulting in parts of some words missing. Historical and rare. E$75
