STAMP AUCTION
TO BE HELD AT THE EAGLES' CLUB
17 ELM STREET, DOWNTOWN TORONTO
(Two blocks north of Dundas Street west off Yonge Street)
SALE No. 323 (MAIL SALE No. 345)
IN ONE SESSION STARTING AT 2.30 p.m. Sunday September 3, 2017
A FEW COMMENTS - December 2014

At the end of September we had a fairly major flood in the retail section of our offices at 211 Yonge Street. This was brought about by a contractor working on the floor above. Flooding has happened in this building before but fortunately did not affect me until now. In a previous case I know of, the tenant was given 30 days notice shortly after his flood. The same happened in our case and we were told to be out by the end of October. Sorting out dry salvageable stock from wet useless material is time-consuming in the stamp business.

However we have moved as much of our stock as we could and hope we have not left anything of great value behind. We will keep you posted about any news or new information at this site.
